His New York Times obituary described him as “a muralist, portraitist and illustrator whose renderings of famous events and faces hang in museums, libraries, public buildings, corporate offices and private collections.” This eye-dazzling example dates to the mid 1960s when he experimented with a series of psychedelic imagery as part of his “curvilinear”period.
