Exquisite Double Pedestal Partner’s Desk handcrafted in mahogany. Georgian Style, measures 62x39x31. Many carved elements, burled wood desktop surface, inlaid in mahogany band. Total of eight drawers with brass pulls, scrolled brass lock plates over keyholes, including two file drawers, plus two cabinets, and all drawers and cabinets have working brass locks, keys included.
The desk's three-part, pedestal construction allows for easy moving and placement. It separates into three parts for ease of transport and storage and is in excellent condition. Great quality construction joined with dovetail joints. The pedestals sit on raised ogee feet, which are finely carved with an acanthus motif. In fine condition, with minor nicks, scuffs and bumps.
