Offered is a beautifully preserved antique double-compartment icebox manufactured by The Toledo Cooker Co., Toledo, Ohio, under the IDEAL line. This piece dates to the early 1900s and showcases the craftsmanship and materials characteristic of the pre-electric refrigeration era.
Constructed from solid quarter-sawn oak with rich grain throughout, this icebox features its original zinc-lined interior compartments, hinged lids, and authentic hardware and latches. The interior retains its original metal liners and drainage openings, making it a rare and complete example.
