"Another Hundred People" is a very post-impressionist/expressionist view of urban life. The characters are almost brutalist in their rendering, Raw and stylized--and yet they are SO believable. There is so much movement in this painting. No one figure is standing still--exactly what you would expect to see on a busy street on a cold weekday morning.

(And no, there aren't exactly 100 people in this painting. It's a metaphor. haha)

Painted during what we like to call "George's Urban Obsession," George reverts to one of his favorite palettes relying on bold, highly saturated primaries.
