"A delightful and beautifully preserved set of two vintage satin lingerie bags by Andre Richard, featuring a whimsical Aquarius astrological motif rendered in soft aqua, teal, and cream tones.
The fabric has a satin finish with body and structure, allowing each pouch to hold its shape gracefully. Illustrated with celestial imageryâAquarius figures, the rings of Saturn, shooting comets, stars, and planetary symbolsâthe design feels both playful and graphic, very much of the mid-century era.
Each bag closes with a satin ribbon tie and was likely intended for stockings, lingerie, or boudoir accessories. Today, they are equally perfect for travel organization, hair accessories, delicate garments, glasses, or keepsakes.
