Magnificent pair of large bellflower-shaped sconces in Murano mouth-blown crystal glass and solid brass. These exceptional lights were designed in Italy by Barovier during the early 1950s. In fabulous condition, with no chips or cracks.
Each finely crafted Murano sconce features a fluted glass shade recalling the shape of a bellflower, enriched with exquisite details. The shade is supported by a spectacular curved and twisted blown-glass arm that connects to the solid brass backplate, creating a truly striking effect.
The sconces come wired and tested, compatible with both US and EU/UK standards, and each uses a single E26/E27 light bulb.
An incredibly elegant and unique pair of sconces, perfect to enhance a mid-century modern entryway or to complement an art deco interior.
