This charming vintage ceramic serving dish was made in Italy. The dish looks like a large serving of corn on the cob and peas. The dish includes an attached plate, making it easy to use as a gravy boat. A serving utensil can easily be placed on the plate. Additionally, there is an opening for a serving spoon, which is not included.
In addition to serving gravy or other sauce, the covered dish can be used for jam, jelly or preserves or any side dish. It would make a lovely addition to traditional, cottage or farmhouse decor. The dish is so lovely that it would look good on a table or shelf rather than being stored in a cabinet.
It is approximately 7.5” by 6.5” by 5.5” and although I do not know the exact age, I believe it was made prior to 2005. It is in excellent condition.
