Gorgeous (large!) statement piece handcrafted by Tony Evans. Beautiful composition of semi-matte and matte finishes combined with crackle glazes and a beautiful color scheme in shades of taupe, plum and turquoise. Beautiful as a vase, centerpiece or solo display item.
Tony Evans (a Welsh-born artist, scientist, and professor) created a distinctive style of Raku pottery, characterized by volcanic surfaces, earthy tones, and glossy drip glazes, which were often inspired by ancient artifacts.
