This large cylindrical shape wastebasket is made of birchbark in shades of white, gray, beige and brown. Contrasting brown bark lines the interior of the waste basket. The birchbark showcases the beauty of the tree that it came from.
The basket would make a beautiful decor item in a living room, bedroom or bathroom. It would also look good in a vacation home, cabin or man cave.
Alternatively to using it as a wastebasket, it would make a stunning cover for a plain flower pot, or as a vase for a dry floral arrangement or artificial flowers.
The basket is approximately 11” across the top, and approximately 9” across the bottom. It is approximately 9” high. I do not know the exact age of the wastebasket; it may be new.
