Up for sale is this exquisite Lalique "Dea" Dove in excellent condition designed by Marie-Claude Lalique in 1990 and retired in 2009. The sculpture depicting a graceful dove with outstretched wings features Lalique’s signature contrasting satin-finish (frosted) and brilliant polished French crystal.
At 10.25” tall, 8” wide with a depth of 6.90” this is a substantial ‘statement’ piece. Stylized high relief details give depth and sculptural dimension to bold, fluid line that embody an elegant Art Deco aesthetic.
The ‘Lalique ® France,’ signature is etched into the bottom and the original clear adhesive label ‘Lalique Paris’ is still attached to the crystal base.
The condition is excellent. There are no scratches, chips or marks or imperfections. The frosted finish is consistent with no ‘clouding.’ There are faint scratches on the bottom from normal shelf wear. (Review the photos, they are part of the description.)
Note: What might look like imperfections in photos, aren’t on the figure. The reflective surface of crystal picks up sun glares, and light catches tiny flecks of lint or dust. Please contact if would like to see additional photos or for more information.
Pickup: Murray Hill, NYC (Lounge area of lobby with doorman)
