Antique French Provincial workshop stool, circa 1920s. Thick-cut round wooden seat supported by four splayed legs and an X-form iron stretcher with central turned finial — a construction characteristic of early 20th century French utility furniture, when iron reinforcement began appearing in provincial workshop designs. Remnants of original black paint throughout. Fully functional and sturdy. Perfect as a structural side table, unique plant stand, or brutalist accent piece in a rustic, wabi-sabi, or organic modern interior.
