This very large and impressive abstract painting is by well known artist MARJORIE SCHLOSSMAN (American, b. 1944). She painted this acrylic painting on canvas in the late 1990’s. It’s exact measurements are 74.75” high X 120.75” wide X 2” deep. The black background helps set off the other colors making it rich and unique. It is signed verso, and naturally it has the necessary eyelets for immediate hanging. Plus, it is in perfect condition.
Schlossman is an amazing fine art abstract painter who resides and paints in Fargo, ND. Her paintings have been widely exhibited in several regional museums, and in both several public exhibitions and in many private collections.
Her collaborative works of art are often inspired and intertwined with poets, composers, architects (public installations) and sculpture. Schlossman has appeared in documentary films and in several books.
Additionally, her artistry besides painting in all mediums, her talents include being a violinist. Aside from a full time artist with multiple studios, she’s a proud wife, mother of 7 children and 19 grandchildren.
A photo of the artist together with her gallery representative Colin Fisher (Colin Fisher Studios) helps illustrate another painting of hers in the background.
Colin Fisher, (Colin Fisher Studios)
“As a collector of art and gallery owner. I’ve been around fine art for over six decades. It is my sincere opinion that this painting by Marjorie Schlossman is incredibly one of the best.” “Furthermore, if you are considering purchasing this painting for investment, do not do so. Instead, purchase it because you love it! And if and when it is sold or passed on to others, it may be worth more, but that should not be your reason for buying it.”
This painting would be a perfect addition to your home or office provided you have the right space for it. Plus, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist is included.
