Large vertical mirror in a solid wood frame with a superb flamed mahogany veneer. Natural, luminous red reflections due to the wood's essence, accentuated by the light, create a pearly effect. The frame is simple and smooth with a molding framing the entire mirror, rounded in an arc at the two upper corners in the Louis Philippe style.
The back is covered in wood. The brass lock and keyhole escutcheon are still present.
This mirror is antique and original. It was originally part of an early 20th-century wardrobe. A beautiful mirror to place in a bedroom or dressing room; its simple shape complements all decorating styles.
