EAPG Northwood Chrysanthemum Sprig Berry Set, Opaque Blue with opalescent tone, and gilt decoration, consists of 1 Master Berry Bowl (5" H \overall, 8.25 x 10.5") and 4 small berry bowls (2.5H overall, 3.5' x 5").
This elegant 5-piece antique EAPG serving set was produced by the renowned Northwood Glass Company in the early 1900's, Crafted in a soft turquoise-blue opalescent glass, the set features a stunning shimmering iridescence that glows beautifully in natural light
The large footed master bowl displays a dramatic scalloped (ruffled) rim, vertical ribbing , and a decorative molded band with raised gold floral and leaf motifs paired with a classic Greek key-style border.
It is accompanied by four matching individual footed bowls (berry bowls), each sharing the same scalloped edges, pedestal bases, opalescent finish and coordinating gold detailing.
the opalescent quality and gold accents give it a nostalgic, ethereal charm typical of premium Northwood pressed glass from the EAPG era.
"Northwood" makers mark (script Northwood) on bottom of each piece.

The blue opalescent glass retains strong color and iridescence. Gold/gilt decoration shows typical wear and loss, especially on the raised floral motifs and high points of the rims (common on gilded pieces and does not detract from display value) Minor surface scratches, light wear, and possible tiny flea bites or manufacturing imperfections may be present on rims or bases. No chips, cracks or repairs noted on the master bowl or any of the four individual bowls. All pieces stand level and display beautifully. Please examine all photos closely as they are part of the condition description. less
