This … Read more A beautifully made mid-century modern walnut credenza from Barker Bros., the storied Los Angeles furniture house established in 1880. This is a quintessential piece of California modernism — clean-lined, impeccably crafted, and deeply functional. Gorgeous dovetail joinery visible on top and sides.

Four doors open to reveal a fitted interior drawer with original dividers and generous open shelving — perfect for bar service, linens, or media storage. The round brass pulls are original and intact. What sets this piece apart structurally is the exposed finger-joint corner construction visible on the case edges — a hallmark of quality American furniture making of the period.

The walnut grain is exceptional throughout, with rich figuring across the top and door fronts. Normal age-appropriate patina; no major damage.
