Charming watercolor offered for sale. The “F.” in F. Ballesio isn’t widely documented, but it seems as though it was Francesco or Federico, and that this Italian artist is often called by both. Painting from late 19th or early 20th century. Colors are rich for watercolor and work well in any color scheme. Purchased at auction years ago and would be beautiful over an antique chest or sideboard. A rare find for collectors of European watercolors, combining Italian artistry with evocative subjects—a truly unique piece. Framed in an elegant 34" x 42" antique frame in very good shape, this artwork makes a sophisticated addition to any collection.
