A charming mid-20th century Italian ceramic sculpture by Ceccarelli, depicting two cats resting together atop a tasseled cushion.
The larger cat sits upright with an alert expression, while the smaller cat sleeps peacefully alongside, creating a balanced and affectionate composition. Finished in a white crackle glaze that enhances the sculptural detail, with hand-painted accents throughout. The striped cushion below, rendered in black and yellow with red tassel details, adds contrast and visual grounding.
Both decorative and collectible, this signed piece reflects the playful sophistication of mid-century Italian ceramics. Ideal for a console, shelf, or cabinet—especially compelling styled among books or layered objects.
