A beautifully sculptural vintage creamer and sugar set designed by Emilia Castillo and produced in Taxco, Mexico, showcasing the whimsical organic forms and exceptional craftsmanship associated with the celebrated Taxco silver tradition.
This elegant three-piece set includes:
• a hammered silver-plated creamer pitcher
• a covered sugar bowl with butterfly finial
• the original serving spoon
Both vessels feature hand-hammered silver plate surfaces that create a rich reflective texture across their rounded forms. The sculptural details incorporate flowing vine motifs with leaf accents inlaid with crushed malachite, adding striking natural color and depth to the design.
The sugar bowl lid is crowned by a finely modeled butterfly finial, while the creamer handle incorporates a graceful organic vine structure accented with malachite leaves. These nature-inspired elements reflect the signature design language of Emilia Castillo, whose work often blends sculptural metalwork with natural stone inlay.
The underside of the pieces retains the original hallmarks:
