A masterclass in understated luxury, this Karl Springer dining table showcases the designer's signature blend of modern elegance and tactile sophistication. The knife-edge design gives the table a sleek and refined profile while the rich goatskin parchment inlay adds depth, texture, while it's lacquer high-gloss offers a smooth luxurious surface. This table dates somewhere between the late 70s-80's which was right at the height of Springers career.

While structurally sound and exceptionally heavy, it … moreThis authentic Karl Springer Knife Edge table is in solid, unrestored vintage condition. While structurally sound and exceptionally heavy, it displays a natural patina consistent with age. The top surface shows characteristic clouding, fine lacquer crazing, and faint water rings from previous use. Along the signature knife-edge, the perimeter remains sharp with only minor areas of lacquer delamination. Several non-structural stress cracks are present on the underside of the table, though they do not affect the overall stability or integrity of the piece. This table is an ideal candidate for professional refinishing to reach gallery-quality status or is perfectly usable as-is for those who prefer an authentic, aged patina.
