The desk features a … Read more This is a beautiful antique george iii revival flame mahogany partners desk, circa 1900 in date. The desk features a beautifully shaped top fitted with an inset gold tooled green leather writing surface. It features a stunning foliate carved border and is serpentine in shape. This is a partners desk and as such it is free standing and finished on each side, the sides of the desk feature decorative panels. One side of the desk is fitted with nine drawers, three drawers in the frieze and three drawers in each pedestal. The other side of the desk has three drawers in the frieze with a cupboard to each pedestal. Each cupboard is fitted with a central shelf and all the drawers are fitted with their original brass drop handles and brass locks. It is raised on a pair of conforming pedestals terminating in bracket feet. Instill the elegance of a bygone era to a special place in your home with this glorious antique desk. Complete with original working locks and key.
