Indeed, its dimensions are quite small for a cabin trunk, measuring only 90 cm wide. This Vuitton trunk is characterized by its hand-stenciled Monogram canvas, light honey-colored "lozine" trim, solid brass locks and clasps stamped Louis Vuitton, Louis Vuitton-stamped studs, and wide leather side handles. Its patina is warm and elegant. The hand-painted French flag on both sides adds a unique and stylish touch.

The interior is original, with the original lining and padding under the lid, and it has also retained its Louis Vuitton label and serial number. As it is over 100 years old, it has some light stains, as can be seen in the photos, but nothing serious. There is no odor. The interior is clean and in good condition. The exterior base has retained its original Monogram canvas. It could serve as a very elegant and striking coffee table or as a blanket chest at the foot of a bed. Please note that this Vuitton trunk is only 33 cm high, but thanks to its custom-made wooden base, it reaches 50 cm in height, a perfect height for a coffee table.
