Display cabinet, high-quality craftsmanship, from the 1950s, by Maison Capelle in Montauban (82), France.
Wooden cabinet, mahogany veneer with a varnished exterior, sycamore with a varnished interior.
Two upper display cabinets with sliding doors, each with a half-shelf inside. The two cabinets are angled in reverse to minimize light reflections; the upper cabinet is slightly inclined downwards, and the lower one upwards.
Lower section: two-door cupboard with a working lock and key.
Tapered legs with gilt brass inserts.
A bright and airy piece of furniture, ideal for showcasing decorative objects.
Interior dimensions:
Upper cabinet: 75 cm wide / 38 cm high / 42 cm deep.
Middle cabinet: 75 cm wide / 60 cm high (24 cm above the shelf, 36 cm below the shelf) / 42 cm deep.
