The painting 'Boat Harbor, Fraueninsel' from 1994 depicts a lively harbor scene on Lake Chiemsee, Bavaria. The foreground is dominated by the shimmering surface of the lake, where boats, jetties, and masts are reflected in animated, loosely rendered forms. Several sailboats are moored along the pier, covered with blue tarpaulins. In the background, the view opens toward the opposite shoreline and gently rising mountains, painted in cool shades of blue and green.
