A sculptural structure that has become an emblem of italian design, a trademark of the new ultra-national movement that in the late 1960's considered throwing off the limitations of rationalism by returning to traditional aesthetics values. This table was designed in 1968 and produced in the 1970's by Simon and Gavina. The condition is exceptionally good, a few very light scratches in the glass. No chips. Tijdloze klassieke eettafel Doge van Carlo Scarpa, massief geborsteld stalen onderstel verbonden met messing inbusschroeven en een zwevend glazen blad (1,5cm) met gepolijste randen. Een sculpturale structuur welke een embleem is geworden van Italiaans design, een handelsmerk van de nieuwe ultra-nationale beweging, die eind jaren zestig overwoog de beperkingen van het rationalisme af te werpen, door terug te keren naar traditionele esthetische waarden. Deze tafel is ontworpen in 1968 en geproduceerd in de jaren 70 door Simon en gavina. De conditie is uitzonderlijk goed, een paar lichte krasjes in het glas. geen chips.
