The system … Read more Shelving unit, designed by Willem Lutjens and produced by Gouda den Boer in the Netherlands during the 1950’s. The system consists of a small cabinet with a key and the original birch veneered shelves, connected by solid birch sticks that can be screwed on to each shelf, so the unit can be dismantled completely. The wall unit can stand on its own and is suitable for small items and books. If it were to be heavily loaded or you have small children crawling around, it’s advised to attach this piece to the wall. Some using marks but overall in a good vintage condition.
