features: this vintage wardrobe opens with two sliding doors featuring their original patinated brass handles. Inside, it is fitted with a full-width shelf with a hanging rail underneath. What makes this wardrobe truly remarkable is the herringbone veneer on its two doors. This graphic, fishbone pattern, of rare sophistication for mass-produced furniture, testifies to the meticulous attention paid to its construction. The sliding doors allow the piece to be placed in smaller spaces, a significant practical advantage. The discreet base on small, flat, straight legs anchors the piece of furniture to the floor with stability while maintaining a visually light appearance.

the cabinet is fully demountable. It will be delivered either assembled or disassembled (with instructions included).

refurbishment: in beautiful original condition, this vintage cabinet has been completely sanded on the exterior and then protected with a clear matte varnish. Inside, it has been cleaned, treated with linseed oil, and polished. Small holes in the bottom shelf have also been filled, and the hanging rail has been replaced.
