The craftsmanship reflects utilitarian English joinery, with hand-cut dovetail drawer construction, plank sides, and a solid top with gently worn edges. The interior has clean, well-fitted drawers with a later divided section, adding functional versatility while preserving the integrity of the piece.
Its soft honey-toned patina has developed naturally over time, highlighting the grain and subtle variations in the wood.
