This is a matte finish Limoges chocolate pot of teapot with no lid. It has two marks, both of which are shown. First is the green Coifee et Cie mark dated 1891 and then the larger red Lazeyras Rosenfel Lehman mark dated 1920. The pot is cream color and orange with pink flowers, hand painted white flowers and raised and dotted gold trim. The pot has a gold painted handle and gold trim at the top and bottom rims. The pot is likely antique, and it does not have a lid. Finding a lid to match might be about impossible.
The pot measures 4.75 inches wide and is 8.00 inches tall to the rim.
The hand painted and hand decorated parts are shown in great detail. Considering the age, this pot is in phenomenal condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage, no gold loss and no staining or signs of use inside. The inside is beautifully clean and shiny white.
The pink flowers do not appear to be hand painted, although someone has added raised white dots to the centers of those flowers. The trop edge is fluted, the bottom edge is shaped and trimmed in gold and it is marked as shown.
This truly may be one of a kind and is a very special antique piece that could easily become a family treasure.
