Set of two 'office cane chairs' by Pierre Jeanneret (1896-1967). Teak, with a slightly curved, inclined back. Detached, profiled armrests on splayed side legs. Straight back attached to the seat, with a wide, tapered side support.
Seat and cane seat and back restored in 2017. Slight variation between chairs. Circa 1956. Purchase invoice from the gallery available upon request, along with a certificate of authenticity from the gallery (defined by Chandigarh expert Eric Touchaleaume). This piece has an attribution mark,
