An elegant set of six antique crystal champagne coupes from the prestigious French manufacturer Baccarat. This is the timeless "Talleyrand" model. Derived from the legendary Harcourt model, the Talleyrand retains its iconic flat-cut ribs but is distinguished by its circular base, giving it a very graceful silhouette, characteristic of Art Deco aesthetics.
The crystal, of remarkable thickness and density, beautifully captures the light and offers a pure and lingering resonance. The coupe's flared shape remains the most sophisticated and historically significant vessel for enjoying champagne.
Note for collectors: As these are vintage pieces (predating the 1936 law), they do not bear the manufacturer's acid-etched mark. At that time, Baccarat used paper labels that wore away with use.
