The figures depict two seated retriever puppies, designed as a mirror-image pair (pendant) – a rarity on the market today, as such sets were often separated over the decades.

Attribution & Design
The sculptures are attributed to the renowned Ronzan manufactory (Turin). Ronzan's characteristic naturalistic style is evident in the gentle rendering of the facial features, the detailed paw pads, and the lively posture. The high-gloss glaze in warm cream white, with subtle, hand-painted accents on the ears and eyes, lends the pieces a timeless elegance that harmonizes perfectly with Hollywood Regency or Mid-Century Modern styles.

In good vintage condition for their age. One dog has a restored paw. This damage does not detract from the impressive overall appearance and stability of this rare pair. Otherwise, the glaze displays a wonderful luster without extensive crazing.
