Poliarte Wall Lamp Mod. Pavo - Albano Poli, 1970s Design Sculptural, luminous and strongly textural, the Pavo wall lamp designed by Albano Poli for Poliarte in the 1970s represents one of the most fascinating examples of Italian artistic design related to glassmaking. The structure consists of overlapping sheets of Muranese glass to which small cubic cast glass elements are applied, arranged irregularly to create an almost abstract, three-dimensional composition. This particular workmanship generates a play of reflections, transparencies and shadows that changes depending on the light and angle of observation. When turned on, the lamp spreads a warm, enveloping light through the glass cubes, creating a striking light pattern on the wall.
