A beautiful Scandinavian wall lamp, produced by an unidentified Danish manufacturer in the 1940s. Crafted entirely from brass, the lamp features a gracefully bent arm extending from a circular wall mount, supporting a sculptural shade with delicate proportions. The shade is fitted with an integrated switch and is decorated with a charming row of perforated stars along the rim, allowing the light to create a subtle decorative effect when illuminated. Both pivoting and tilting functions make it easy to direct the light as desired, combining practicality with elegant design: The brass surface has developed a rich, warm patina over time, enhancing its character and authenticity. A fine example of understated Scandinavian craftsmanship from the mid-20th century, equally suited for use as a bedside lamp or reading light.
