This design from Germany, dating from the late 1960s, demonstrates what craftsmanship means. The body is deliberately constructed more heavily, giving the shadow joints around the doors and drawers extra depth. The fronts appear to detach from the whole, creating an intriguing interplay of lines that continues to captivate. The drawer fronts feature integrated handles, cleanly cut and perfectly proportioned. Functional, but above all a graphic detail that enhances the design. Behind the doors and inside the drawers, the quality is evident. Solid beech wood, solidly constructed, and pleasant to use. The interior is finished in a lighter wood type, providing a beautiful contrast with the warm veneer on the exterior. Everything is right, from construction to finish. This type of furniture was often produced in smaller series in Germany, with attention to detail and durability. Not mass production, but a piece made with care, and you can feel that in every detail. In our workshop, the sideboard has been inspected and refinished where necessary. The wood has retained its warm appearance and is ready for the next phase. A timeless design that combines effortlessly, both in a modern interior and in a more classic setting.
