Crafted in beautifully figured mahogany with a rich warm colour and pleasing natural patina, this impressive antique piece combines classic Georgian design with highly practical storage. The upper section features a moulded cornice with central oval patera inlay above a pair of large panelled cupboard doors. Inside are a series of original sliding trays, traditionally used for linen storage. The lower section is fitted with a well-graduated arrangement of drawers retaining their attractive oval brass handles and working locks, all raised on neat splayed bracket feet with a gently shaped apron.
