A distinctive mid-century studio art pottery pouring vessel, combining functional design with sculptural form. This single-piece design features an arched handle, an integrated spouted vessel, and a central stopper element, creating a visually striking yet practical object.
Executed in stoneware with a soft speckled beige glaze accented by deep cobalt blue, the surface shows natural variations and kiln effects that highlight its handmade character. The organic glaze transitions and asymmetrical form are characteristic of 1960s–1970s studio ceramics.
This piece may have been intended as a cruet-style pouring vessel (for oil, vinegar, or similar), but it also stands beautifully as a decorative sculptural accent in modern, rustic, or wabi-sabi interiors.
The underside bears what appears to be an incised maker’s mark (“C” and “04” or similar), indicating studio craftsmanship.
