the tabletop is composed of glazed ceramic tiles forming an immediately recognizable graphic composition: a glossy black background, tightly packed vertical white lines, and raised red and orange ellipses arranged rhythmically across the entire surface. The interplay between the geometric rigor of the grid and the organic character of the raised forms is typical of the cloutiers' style. The ceramic is in good overall condition, with some minor superficial signs of wear normal for a piece of this age.

the understated and well-proportioned black lacquered metal frame, with its horizontal crossbars and patinated brass fixing details, frames the tabletop without overpowering it.
