An exquisite pair of blown glass candle holders, made by the renowned German firm Rosenthal in the 2000s. This is a design by Bjönn Wiinblad, called “Tulip.”

The blown-glass "Tulip" candle holder is one of Björn Wiinblad's most recognizable and iconic designs, originally created for the Rosenthal Studio Line in 1958. Made of hand-blown glass, it features a solid, heavy base from which a stylized stem rises, culminating in a cup with undulating edges that emulates the petals of a tulip in smoky gray tones. It is available in different versions with varying heights. The model is still manufactured today using a more modern technique that offers a more uniform, but less handcrafted, finish.
