Unfortunately, its age is difficult to determine, because these valuables were made with almost the same technique from the 1400s. It has external marks that point more to the late Gothic period. The function of this iron chest was originally to store valuables (money and documents), perhaps as a war treasury, where soldiers' wages were carried. Unfortunately, the back was opened once, I took a photo. The key probably wasn't there, so it had to be opened. The lock was also removed, which was probably due to the lack of a key. So, it looks more visually, but it is a nice old piece. The upper keyhole was removed, a long time ago. It is a completely forged piece. See less
