Beautiful and rare hand-painted porcelain “Geisha” teapot made in Sri-Lanka for Fitz & Floyd. This piece was produced as part of Fitz & Floyd’s popular Kyoto Festival collection between 1997 and 1999.
This is a truly gorgeous 18 oz. teapot with rich, colorful glazing and fine details, including a beautifully painted face and kimono. The Geisha’s belt gracefully serves as the pot’s handle and her arm and teacup as the spout. This Geisha is just a lovely piece that has many years of entertaining ahead.

- This teapot is in excellent vintage condition with minor, age-appropriate wear and signs of use, including one chip on the … moreThis teapot is in excellent vintage condition with minor, age-appropriate wear and signs of use, including one chip on the bottom of the pot which can also be seen from the side — most noticeably at eye level. See last three photos. Frankly, it took me a minute to spot this chip because looking head on, it is easily mistaken for a fold in the geisha’s kimono. I spotted the chip only after turning the piece over to view the bottom where it is most visible. This minor imperfection does not detract from the overall look and beauty of this piece. It is a real stunner. less
