This evocative original oil painting by American artist Henry Parker (1938–2021) captures the ethereal stillness of a coastal morning. Dated 1975, the work features Parker’s celebrated "sfumato" technique, where thin glazes of oil paint are blended to create a translucent, foggy atmosphere. A lone stilt house and a quiet rowboat emerge from the mist, offering a sense of serene solitude.
