This sculptural console features three intricately carved panels inspired by traditional Dogon doors from Mali. Each relief depicts symbolic motifs associated with protection, ancestry and cosmology.
Dogon doors traditionally protected granaries and family compounds. Their carvings often represent ancestors, animals and symbolic patterns connected to Dogon cosmology.
