A metal reading lamp type n55 manufactured in the seventies in the czechoslovakian national enterprise kovona. The lamp is made of black painted iron, the lamp shade and tubular parts are chromium-plated. The intensity of the light can be altered by the adjustable lamp shade.
the lamp is in a very good original condition, it is in working order, the chromium plated parts are slightly worn and the paint is scratched in places. The lamp has a bulbsocket e27. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
