Great dining set, designed by Bas van Pelt in the 1940s for his own company My Home Netherlands.
This is a rare set, especially as a set together with the table, that was designed together.
The chairs are reupholstered with a nice cream linen fabric. They have a solid oak structure. The table is fully made of oak; the top, which is refinished, has solid sides and veneer in the middle. The frame is of solid oak. A nice and functional detail of the table is the drop-leaf at one side.
The whole set is in very good condition with a lovely patina. No damages. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
