At 248 cm long and weighing over 100 kg, it naturally structures large spaces without needing to assert itself beyond its sheer presence.

The oblong shape with its generously rounded ends embodies an effective simplicity—typical of the modernist vocabulary of the 1950s, in the style of Pierre Chapo, where the nobility of the raw material and the purity of form take precedence over any ornamentation. The 6 cm thick solid oak top is assembled using tongue-and-groove joints, a traditional technique that guarantees the table's enduring strength. The wide planks, with their expressive grain and generous knots, reveal a vibrant and warm surface, with blond and golden tones characteristic of oak that has been worked over time.
