This is a beautiful vintage floral oil painting on canvas, signed by Artist Alex, and framed in an ornate, heavy gilded frame. It features orange poppies and white daisies in a vase. It was purchased from the renowned Merrill Chase Galleries located in Chicago in the early 1960s.
It is a beautiful work of art set in an equally beautiful, heavy gilded frame.
There are 2 hairline cracks in 2 corners. They are hardly noticeable, but please see the pictures.
Also, there is some very minor wear on some parts of the frame.
