This handcrafted … Read more Wonderful hotel front desk/concierge cabinet with open and hidden vertical organizers and side pigeonhole cubby storage, circa 1910. This handcrafted piece is designed to sit on top of a desk, counter or table and is crafted of mahogany with secondary pine within the concealed section. Originally used to coordinate guest information, mail/messages and room keys, its nicely fitted interior provides organization in a beautiful and unique presentation. It features eight open cubbies and six narrow compartments alongside six additional ones behind two recessed panel mahogany doors with original iron latch hardware and brass hinges. All dividers have a sculpted serpentine edge. It is elevated on a three-sided, straight base with frontal carved trim which allows for storage beneath and displays well-appointed details throughout.

An excellent addition to the office as a filing station or as a special piece in the kitchen to hold cutting boards, hardboard placemats, small serving trays and spice jars. An exceptional cabinet which will bring warmth and historical charm to a room while providing great organization.
