A charming pair of mid - 19th century English Staffordshire transferware plates featuring a richly detailed grapevine and wheat border in deep cobalt blue. Likely produced by Thomas Booth of Trunstall, these plates date to circa 1850-1865 and exemplify the classic Victorian “harvest” motif symbolizing abundance.
Each plate displays fine, consistent crazing throughout the glaze and a softly aged patina to the centers, adding warmth and authenticity. The subtly irregular, hand - finished rims reflect early production techniques and enhance their antique
character. Perfect for wall display or layering into a blue-white collection. Measure 10.5” diameter.
