Sanderson … Read more A stunning vintage floral, this archival pattern, printed by Sanderson and in never-used condition, was sourced from a collector. Sanderson is a quintessentially British country house design firm, founded in 1860, known for an elegant touch to classic English designs boldly reinterpreted from historic archives, and this design is typical of that aesthetic. Instead of the more obvious pastel chintz patterns, Fleurie features a trailing floral stripe of a traditional marigold flat floral in off white on a vine of light beige leaves. The print has the look of a block print, on a textured printed denim blue background.  The classic design and moody color allow this design to work well in traditional as well as less traditional decor, even modern farmhouse and cottagecore settings. Truly striking!
