Vintage wall sconce from the 1960s, made by Mazzega, a historic Italian Murano glass manufacturer. The oval-shaped piece is crafted from honey-colored Murano glass using the artisanal graniglia technique: small fragments of colored glass are fused within the main glass, creating a refined granular effect that diffuses the light softly and warmly.
The simple and elegant oval shape, combined with the warm amber hue of the glass, gives the sconce a welcoming and sophisticated look, typical of mid-century Italian design. Metal frame. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
